Private Tour of the Levi Strauss & Co. Archives and The Vault Museum
On a chilly Friday morning in February, over twenty BAACG members gathered outside in Levi Strauss Plaza ready to take a private tour of the Levi Strauss & Co. Archive and Vault Museum. Once we arrived inside, we were welcomed by archivist Laura O’Hara and then split into two groups so our large group could take turns exploring both spaces in an intimate setting. SFCB Holiday Event Recap
Back in mid-December, BAACG members got together at the San Francisco Center for the Book (SFCB) to celebrate 2025, catch up, and participate in a few fun hands-on activities utilizing the amazing space and equipment SFCB has available to its students. Andy Goldsworthy Walking Tour in the Presidio
On a drizzly Saturday morning in October, BAACG members, family, and friends embarked on a self-guided walking tour of the Andy Goldsworthy installations at the Presidio. Created between 2008 and 2014, these four Land art sculptures ( Earth Wall, Tree Fall, Wood Line , and Spire ), were constructed from branches, logs, and clay sourced from the very same eucalyptus and cypress groves that they now soar above and sprawl through.
