Business Among Beauty

We were exceedingly lucky to be able to hold our 2024 Annual Business Meeting surrounded by the trees, moss, leaves, mountains, and mists of British watercolor artist Tony Foster. Mr. Foster travels to remote and rugged parts of the world to document the landscapes and his experiences, creating multiple-work "Journeys" that are not to be missed! We're grateful to BAACG member Anne Baxter, co-director of The Foster Museum, who along with her colleagues graciously hosted our group on July 13th. First, we caught up with fellow BAACG members over an abundant brunch and brief officer reports. Then we were toured through the museum by Ms. Baxter, with added input from Alex Thrapp, who had worked on several pieces on view. Finally, a few of us stayed on to paint, inspired by the gorgeous artwork of Mr. Foster, which is both expansive in scope and so finely detailed in places as to be almost indistinguishable from nature.
