The BAACG's Annual Business Meeting was held July 16 at the Museum at the Cliff. It was a fantastic evening of catching up on BAACG business, meeting new members, enjoying a little food and drink before being presented with an introduction and private tour of the Museum at the Cliff. Prior to the tour, the attendees were presented with the story of how the Museum at the Cliff came to be by those directly responsible for leading the endeavor: Nicole Meldahl, Executive Director of the Western Neighborhoods Project, Alexandra Mitchell, Founder and Principal Conservator of ACT Art Conservation, and John Lindsey from The Great Highway Gallery. Their stories, their passion for the project, and tireless efforts to save the collections were an inspiration. After the presentation, guests wandered through the galleries learning more about the history of Lands End, Ocean Beach, Playland at the Beach, Sutro Baths and visiting the recently opened and immersive exhibition: Naiad Cove.
