The Guild gathered for its 2023 annual meeting on an unseasonably warm July morning at the Presidio. The meeting, graciously hosted by the Walt Disney Family Museum, kicked off with a discussion of BAACG business accompanied by a light breakfast and coffee. Guests then went on a tour of the galleries, led by Katherine Langdon, Junior Conservator, and Martin Salazar, Senior Conservator of Paper. Highlights of the tour included the Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs Academy Award, the earliest drawings of Mickey Mouse, and the Multiplane Camera. The tour finished in the grand Gallery 9, which houses Walt Disney's Lilly Belle Train and a 14-foot wide model of Disneyland. The bonus: a beautiful view of the Golden Gate Bridge from the upper floor of the museum.
