About the event
The San Francisco Center for the Book is a non-profit organization dedicated to sharing the joy and craft of books and bookmaking via their exhibitions, workshops, and public programming. The Bay Area Art Conservation Guild is pleased to have been offered this very special venue for an end-of-year gathering! You are invited to join us at 6 PM on Monday December 15th to learn about the SFCB and to be lead by their experts in a hand-bookbinding and/or letterpress print-making activity. Shopping in their bookstore for artist books, marbled paper, gift wrap (and more!) plus socializing with your fellow BAACG members over light drinks and a sweet snack will round out the evening. Space is limited, so please RSVP now. This is a members only event, though members may be notified that they are free to bring one guest each if space permits.
